A decent low-carb steak sauce:)

I was messing around with several different methods trying to find a versatile sauce that could be used also as a steak sauce...this one turned out pretty good! It's kind of a sweet-ish sauce, and the more I think about it, the more I think it needs 2T of soy sauce, too!

Steak Sauce
Recipe By : Dottie

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons sugar free maple syrup/pancake syrup
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 pinch cayenne pepper
2 packets sweetener* Optional if the syrup isn't sweet enough
2 tablespoons tomato paste

Bring all ingredients except salt and tomato paste to a simmer and let simmer for 5 minutes. Whisk in tomato paste and let simer to thicken(about 5 minutes). Taste and add salt as desired(or not).
Let cool completely to room temperature and then refrigerate.

Dottie, does it in any way taste like A-1 sauce? That was my fav steak sauce, I miss it

I haven't made it in years! Since they came out with the low-sugar catsup I just mix that with a little soy sauce, wostershire and a drop of ez-sweetz and use that
