For folks who avoid dairy
Found a neat set of recipes on the internet -- google "done with dairy toolkit." They aren't necessary low carb (but many could be converted) and many do use nuts. That said, I hadn't seen homemade dairy-free options for some of these before: cream cheese, frosting, cheese sauce, and milk. (Well, we've all seen almond milk. But sunflower seed and flaxseed milk?? New to me!) Hope these are useful to someone who needs alternatives.

Thanks I'll go check it out.
So I went and check out the site. She is awesome. Her cream cheese recipe sounds amazing. I can't wait to try some. Thank you so much. Last edited by rosethorns; 05-20-2013 at 06:33 PM.. |

I just bought some sunflower seed milk at Grocery Outlet today for $1.49/quart. Unsweetened too. Can't wait to try it!
