Celery Root! Makes awesome fries!
Veggie chips - eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash - Slice thinly - season with sea salt Boneless "wings" - use boneless chicken thighs. ( You need some kind of breading to make it crispy) I use LC Foods white flour for breading things but I know some folks like to use crushed pork rinds . Then add your hot sauce I also do this to make General Tso's chicken - breaded chicken thighs then make up my own version of Gen Tso's sauce - I don't have a recipe I just add stuff till it tastes right to me LOL. (LC Ketchup, soy sauce,Sesame oil, green onions, ginger, garlic, sweetener, Thai Chili peppers) If you use LC Tortillas, you can fry them into chips - you can also just bake them too so frying not really necessary but since I sometimes don't want to heat up the oven, its just quicker for me to deep fry them. Great for all kinds of dips. My fave would be spinach artichoke dip. You can also stuff the tortillas with meat and cheese and deep fry them - My take on Chili's Southwestern Egg Rolls I also use the tortillas to make crab rangoon. |

I never thought about frying celery root. Do you have to season it first or let any moisture go out? And I never thought about frying LC tortillas! I'm so glad I came back to this wonderful place!!!

I dried them then fried them in 350 degree oil. They were so good I decided I should never do that again! ![]() |
