I need resource for Stevia blend please
Hello,
Can someone tell me where the least expensive place is to buy a Stevia/Erythritol blend? I have a few other questions, too. :-) What is your favorite LC bread recipe that doesn't have a lot of expensive ingredients? Also, do you have a favorite dessert with no dairy? There are so many recipes that I get overwhelmed. This forum is a life saver. Thank you in advance. Georgene |

The least expensive it to make your own. It also tastes a lot better than Truvia. I got the recipe from the Healthy Indulgences blog. Lauren from the blog sometimes posts on this forum as well.
Recipe: Mix 1 cup erythritol (granular) with 1/2 teaspoon pure stevia powder (she recommends and I use the NuNaturals brand). The stevia is sold by Netrition as: NuStevia Pure White Stevia Extract Powder. A little of that goes a long way. Mix this up and store it in a container. I just made 3 cups of it last night. |

The best blend in my opinion is Steviva which is now sold by Netrition at a good price, 8.99 for 1lb package. I always order a package or two when I make a Netrition order so I have a good supply on hand.
I tried Truvia but didn't like it and after reading more about it I don't like what Cargill did to the stevia extract they use in it. I do wish Steviva would make a powdered version. Last edited by PaminKY; 02-22-2013 at 08:05 AM.. |

Thank you!
I appreciate the information.
Would you both agree that Netrition would be the cheapest place to purchase the Erythritol? Thanks again! Geogene |

I buy both the Steviva, granular erythritol and powdered erythritol from Netrition. I used to buy the Steviva direct but to get anywhere near the price that Netrition sells it per pound bag I had to buy a very large quantity. So yes in my opinion Netrtion is the best place plus you can get so many other things from there as well and you can't beat the flat rate shipping plus if your order is large enough you get a free gift. Also as long as you don't order anthing that is on backorder the shipping is also super fast. |
