Glucomannan

I'm looking at ordering glucomannan from Netrition and wondering which brand to buy. Konjac Glucomannan Powder or the NOW brand.

It depends on how much you need and how much you want to spend. I think some have said that the Konjac is a better savings, and I'm not sure if one works any different than another because I've only used the now brand.

Maybe somebody else can give you some better advice.

I bought the NOW brand because I didn't want to spend $20 on a new ingredient that I am not sure how much I will use. Plus most recipes don't call for a lot. I don't plan on making homemade noodles or anything. That said I did use 1 tsp. of it the day after it arrived, and the recipe turned out well. So I am sure I will use it regularly.

I'm thinking then that the 8 ounce NOW brand should be enough. Thanks.

I bought the Konjac at least 2 years ago, and I have started using alot of it in the Fantastic Flour mix but you CANNOT even tell I've used any.

I would say buy what you can afford so that you can get all the other necessary goodies to make the Fantastic Flour mix.

You will love it if you play around with the flour mix OR just use "the awesome bakers" recipes like I do...

and take ALL the credit for great LC foods

Foods that they won't believe are low carb, low calorie to boot!
