Ice Cream
Hello everyone, long time lurker, first time poster! I've searched and read a lot from this site over the years...I read about the ice cream recipes as well, and I was linked from this website to eggface (I think it's called) and that's been helpful as well.
So I have a question regarding ice cream. I have a 2QT size cusinart ice cream maker and too many ingredients and I need help narrowing it down to what to use! I'd like to keep it low cal, preferably moderate fat & low carb, but I'll go higher in the fat and/or higher in protein if it helps. I definitely want a creamy & delicious ice cream or frozen yogurt so I'm willing to compromise! So here's what I have: -Hood Calorie Countdown (Skim, Chocolate & 2% Milk) -Fat Free Greek Yogurt -Various Protein Powders -FF/SF Jello Pudding Mixes -PB2/Chocolate PB2 -Egg Beaters/Egg Whites -SF Syrups (Walden Farms, Da Vinci, etc) -Guar Gum/Xantham Gum/Oat Fiber -Splenda -Various Toppings (Sensato Granola, Fruit, SF Chocolate Chips, Toffee & Peanut Brittle (Judy's), Cinnamon, Rainbow Sprinkes, Nuts, Cool Whip Free, SF Whipped Cream (Redi-Whip), etc) Any recommendations for a good quantity and maybe some ideas for some good ratios? For example, let's say I wanted to fill up a pint (I have empty pint containers, exactly like B&Js pints)? |

Sharon I never seen that thread. What a great thread. Even though I'm non dairy there are other people I know who would love that recipe.
