No smell at all! The bag says to rinse, they come with a little liquid in them. They're translucent looking and have a crunch. They're long like the Shirataki noodles but stiff when not cooked. There's no taste to them either, just the crunch, and when you cook them, they take on the color and flavor of what you cook them with and also turn soft. I love them!

Sorry I didn't see this sooner!! I didn't make it LOL But I did have the following, the noodles would be awesome in it.
2 chicken breasts cut up 1/3 c heavy cream 1/4 block of cream cheese broccoli All in a sauce pan, cover and cook on medium for about 15 minutes. I also had garlic and a little chili powder in it, but I really couldn't taste either. Someone also suggested that since the sauce was so runny, to maybe add the cream cheese after it was finished. 2 servings, very little carbs. It was good!
