Pepperoni Cheese Bake
I got this from my LC doctor today..Of course, you can use real pepperoni instead of the turkey kind.
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup diced turkey pepperoni 5 eggs 1/4 cup cream 1/2 cup almond milk or LC milk 1/4 tsp. dried basil 1/4 tsp. dried oregano Spray a 9" pie plate. Layer the cheese and the pepperoni in the plate. Use bowl to whisk the eggs and the rest of the ingredients. Pour this over the cheese/pepperoni mixture. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting. 8 servings, each with 18 grams of protein and one net carb.

Sounds yummy, we could even use different meats and cheeses as well as cooked veggies to. Ham and onion or sausage and peppers.
Thanks for sharing!! |

Lol, Linda Sue. Our monthly challenge at Eat Fat, Get thin is called Keeping the Scale Going Downton so we all took a character for our avatar. Even though Lavinia's in heaven, she was still a lovely person.

This sounds wonderful!! I've been doing something along the same lines, spread bottom of small baking dish with a couple of tablespoons of pizza sauce then cover with cheese, I also add feta cheese on top of the regular cheese, pepperoni, onion and some parm cheese. I also add cooked burger or bacon or whatever else is around. Then I bake it at 350 for about 35 minutes or until the top is brown. Let it cool and it's a crustless pizza. Yum!
I can't wait to try your recipe to change it up! |
