Favorite thing to do with chicken tenders!?
I just bought a big value pack of chicken tenders, so I need good recipes! I'm currently obsessed with buffalo chicken, so I thought I could bake some (debating if I should try to coat them in almond flour or something for a breading) and then toss them in hot wing sauce. But I dont want to do that with the whole pack. . |
I have this recipe from Carolyn, All Day I F=Dream About Food.
Sesame-Crusted Chicken Tenders with Spicy Asian Sauce Carolyn Dipping Sauce ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp. sesame oil 1 red Serrano chili, finely diced 1 clove garlic, crushed ½ tsp. ground ginger ½ tsp. red pepper flakes Chicken Tenders 1 egg white ¾ cup sesame seeds 1 lb. chicken tenders (about 12) Salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp. sesame oil For the dipping sauce, whisk all ingredients in a small bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour. For the tenders, whisk egg white in a shallow bowl until slightly frothy. Spread sesame seeds on a plate. Pat tenders dry with a paper towel, then season lightly with salt and pepper. Dip in egg white, and then dredge in sesame seeds to coat. Shake off excess. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat, until shimmering but not smoking. Place chicken tenders in skillet and cook until browned, about 4 minutes per side. Drain tenders on a paper-towel lined place. Also found this from Grace2882. Zesty Chicken Alfredo Grace 2.5 pounds of chicken tenders, thawed 1 8-ounce package of dry Zesty Italian Salad Dressing Seasoning 1/4 cup water 1 garlic clove 1 8-ounce package Philadelphia Cream Cheese 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup 1 medium size head cauliflower, cut into small pieces 1 can chicken broth Place chicken tenders in bottom of slow cooker. Top with dry Italian Seasoning Salad Dressing Seasoning and then water. Top with garlic. Place lid on slow cooker and cook 4 hours. In a bowl mix cream cheese and cream of chicken soup. Pour over chicken. There will be liquid in the bottom of the slow cooker. Stir the cream cheese mixture into it. Cook on low for another hour. While that cooks place cauliflower into a saute pan and add chicken broth. Simmer until cauliflower is cooked. Drain liquid from cauliflower before serving. |
The last time I made Chicken Lazone, I used tenders and they worked great. I bought more tenders the last time I saw them cheap just to use in that recipe.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for sure...I have a freezer full of chicken tenders that I bought at Costco, I thought I was buying chicken breast, duh.
Dinner tonight will be Chicken Lazone! |
I was also thinking Chicken Lanzone, and I'd recommend serving with a big bowl of green beans (I get Trader Joe frozen thin green beans), since the leftover green beans are delicious next day for lunch with the sauce. Good first day too, but enjoyed them even more day 2.

The original recipe called for breast.. and it said u can put in frozen or thawed I brought that and a salad for lunch plan on putting it over my salad with ranch dressing. (i used leg and thigh because hubby cant eat breast meat) |
When I'm keeping it really simple, one of my go-to meals is chicken tenders cooked on my George Foreman grill. I use McCormick Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning, but you can use whatever you like. They'll cook from frozen in about 7-8 minutes. Then I top them with a delicious white "gravy" made from melting a block of cream cheese with 3/4 cup cream. (You can adjust the recipe to make less, if you like.) OMG!
