Making raisens
I dried grapes and made raisens for years with no problems, but back then, I had day care children and they used them up pretty fast. Moved, put in seedless grapevines, dried a bunch last year. Just went to get a few to throw in some l.c. cookies and they are moldy, how do you guys store yours. I am stumped, they were really dry when I put them in jars........... Ann

Do you have a Foodsaver vacuum sealer? With stuff like dried fruit, I put it in the jars and then vacuum seal. That removes all the air, so they don't mold.
Absent that, I'd say freeze them. |
