Cake Pop Maker "one minute" muffins
Hey just made some Low carb cake pops in the new maker I got for Christmas and they turned out GREAT!
Used the recipe for One minute muffins (used ALmond flour instead of flax) and put it into the wells of the cake pop maker. In 5 min. done and turned out perfect!!! so excited!:jumpjoy::jumpjoy: |
That is way cool! I had wondered if this would work when I saw these little devils at the store (and refused to buy anyone one of them...for fear they would blame ME for their weight gain, lol).

What an awesome idea!! I don't have a cake pop maker, but now I'm tempted to buy one.
I found a 'keebler' one at Ross for less than 15$
Hmm. So tempting.
Not that I need one but now I want one!!!!!!!!

The black bean Cake recipe makes about 24 cakepops in mine. Just sayin. ;)
I have the little mini donut maker and do the same thing. Makes for great portion control! You can make them sweet or savory, kind of more like little bagels using some of the bread recipes.
I recently go the Wilton brown one (doesn't have a top) w/a 50% off coupon from the Sunday paper at Michaels, but haven't used it yet.
Mrs. Munro, how long did you bake them? 8-10 minutes? |
I don't think it took that long, maybe 5 mins per batch. My little no name machine seems to run hot though.
Oops, mine is a silicone one, not the machine. The machine would definitely bake these faster I'd think.
For some recipes and more info about this type of thing, Google 24/7 Low Carb Diner, then search Lisa's blog for Babycakes Muffins. I've been thinking about buying the Babycakes machine since she's posted some recipes worth drooling over!
