seasoning sliced almonds
I have a two pound bag of sliced almonds and would like to season or flavor some for salad toppings. If I were to use a tiny amount of Hidden Valley Ranch mix and a little EVOO tossed with the nuts in a plastic bag, would they roast well in the oven? Do you have suggestions for proportions?

Sure...I think they would roast OK. But because they are sliced, I would watch them carefully and I would stir them very often. Cool completely and then store covered.
