one end is inside the meat, and the other end is outside the oven. I do not have such a thermometer. My Ronco came with one, but not that kind. also, i never had to use it, because everything I made in it came out perfectly. FF

Flattferenghi, the thermometer at Walmart is $14.97. The brand is Mainstays, a Walmart brand. You can not see the cord from the thermometer to the probe, the way it is packaged, but it is the one you want.
