Here are the pics .
cream cheeese cookies 043.jpg cream cheeese cookies 042.jpg I use to love these . They are a little involved. I use to change flavors using extracts and syrups. The cookie part was crispier . After I took the picture I put chocolate on top. DH says they are great except the cookie part. He remembers them crispier. Does anybody remember the Philadelphia cream cheese cookies? These are my rendition of them. Last edited by rosethorns; 12-11-2012 at 07:33 AM.. |

Comfy belly has a great breakfast cookie. I sub the honey for splenda or other artificial sweetener combos. They are reallly good.

Another cookie I'm going to try this weekend is Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownies form 24/7 Low carb diner. My Red Velvet emulsion came yesterday. I'm hoping that this will be a good enough dessert to have on Christmas day.
Has anyone given these a try yet? |

So sorry I thought I put the recipe on here.
The cookie part. I used a recipe the other day and now I know it was not the one I used before. Originally posted by shawneesioux: easy to make: change the flavor by varying the extract (maple, almond, whatever)..add chopped nuts.. I don't have Keto, so I have used Brown Sugar Twin and cinnamon "dusting" on ones made with Maple extract. I also add in a pinch of salt to the cookie dough. Shawnee Old Fashioned "Sugar" Cookies Ingredients: 1 1/4 cups almond flour 1 cup Splenda ( I used a combo of sweetners ) 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon butter flavored extract 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup butter, softened Keto Sweet granulated sweetener [optional] Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix almond flour with Splenda, sifting until well mixed. In a separate bowl, lightly beat egg and then mix well with extracts and softened butter. Add to dry ingredients and mix really well. Then spread on a cookie sheet with sides and cut with a pizza cutter in rectangles then baked for a 10 minutes.Take out and let cool while making cheesecake. I made a no bake cheesecake in a bowl. Cheesecake filling 12 0z. cream cheese softened 2 T. powdered Xylitol 1/2 c. vanilla da vinci ( i've used different flavors here) 1 pack knox gelitin dash of stevia 1/2 c heavy or whipping cream Cream the cream cheese in a bowl with stevia and powdered Xylitol then set aside. Whip up heavy cream and set aside. In a small saucepan combine the syrup and sprinkle the gelatin on top , let sit for 5 minutes. Let turn a stove on low to dissolved the gelitin. Thentake the cream cheese bowl and pour in the da vinci's and whip until light and fluffy. Put in fridge for about 30 minutes then fold in ( already whipped ) whipping cream.Put this mixture in a piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner cut off. Pipe onto cookie ( a nice amount) and then put lc jam on top. I make my own jam . You could use store bought. I tasted the cookie and it was good. But I know that wasn't the cookie recipe I used. My cookie part was crispy. My memory is not very good. Everbody loved these. I hope I didn't forget anything. I was also looking at the all day I dream of food website and those cookies look great! ![]() ![]()

These would be a great addition to anybody's Christmas cookie tray. I'm very pleased with how they came out. The top crust was a bit tricky, but I managed to pull it off with this soft dough after chilling it. Apricot Shortbread Sandwich Cookies

I just finished making the Red Velvet Cheesecake Swirl Brownie and the Chocolate Raspberry Thumbprints.
The brownies are excellent. Dd said "they don't taste fake", and that is a compliment. I will probably make these for my Christmas dinner (and I'll even share them). The thumbprints are also quite good. They are definitely in the running for the cookie exchange. I made half with sugar-free raspberry jam and half with a concoction of almond butter and powdered Swerve. I have 3 more recipes to try today, but I promised dd I'd help her study for a test, so I may not get to all 3. ![]() |

I just took the Chocolate Pecan Coconut Cookie Bars out of the oven. These are excellent! I subbed DaVinci caramel syrup for the molasses and the crust by itself tastes wonderful. I don't have a 9x11 pan, so I started out in a 9x13 pan and didn't spread the crust to the farthest edge. After baking the crust, I was worried that the filling and topping would run over into the crustless part of the pan, so I put the cooked crust into a 9x9 pan. I think that there was too much topping for the rest of the cookies because it is just very crumbly. Or, maybe that's just because I was impatient and didn't let the bars cool enough before removing from the pan. Anyway, these really are great, but might be too crumbly for a cookie exchange.

I just finished making Holiday Sugar Cookie Bars from All Day I Dream About Food and these are excellent. I only made half a recipe to try them, but next time will make a full batch. I can't use oat flour, so I subbed 1 tablespoon (2 tablespoons for full recipe) of coconut flour. One of the things I love about this recipe is that it is a bar cookie - much quicker and easier to make.

I made Carolyn's chocolate peppermint cookies today and they were really good. I didn't turn them into sandwich cookies though because I liked them the way they were. I am goinng to try to use that recipe to create gingersnaps because they did come out pretty crisp.
