My Walmart started carrying Dreamfields this year as well, but don't know the price off-hand. I don't eat it often, but occasionally I make something with it. It's sure nice not to have to order it on-line anymore.

For anyone in Texas, some of the HEB stores carry it also.

Yes, Nigel, my HEB has some varieties of Dreamfields, but the shape variety on the shelf at any given time, is inconsistent. The same applies to the offerings at my Walmart. Between the two stores, I can usually get the shape I'm wanting, though.

I wish Dreamfields would make an orzo type noodle for soup. The macaroni is kinda big and I hate chopping up the regular noodles....Great product though.

Yeah, I usually have to shop at both stores each week too. Of course those are the only choices here besides the dollar type stores.

I also noticed Torani syrup at HEB, but I was in a hurry and didn't see if it was sf or regular.

just a warning about Dreamfields - it does still raise my blood sugar and gives me gastro issues- if you want to try this product, just be aware that it is not a wonder food

are you following the timings on the box?

each shape has different portion sizes and timings. I am aware that Dreamfields is not suitable for everyone, but it can help keep us on plan for those of us who do not experience glucose spikes. Also. it is important to remember to have it with fat to slow the glycemic rush. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

I've read many many accounts of people stating it boosts their blood sugars, but I've read just as many, if not more ... of people stating that it didn't. Seems one of the keys is ... not overcooking it. I usually undercook it, just to be on the safe side. If it says 10 minutes, I go for 8, etc. I like the "al dente" thing anyway ... Overcooking it will destroy the magical and protective fiber-like matrix.

Just some random thoughts ...

Dreamfield's will give me gastric distress if I eat more than one serving, so I make sure I measure it out when I have it.
