I ordered 1 bag from Netrition. I didn't think they were all that fishy smelling like others say and I sort of liked them. Probably would buy again, but can't for the life of me remember what I used them for, old age I guess................... Ann

I bought them when a certain coupon company had a sale on them. I love them. They can be fishy smelling but if you rinse them in cold water for 2-3 minutes, place them in a little bit of boiling water (per directions) then add your favorite seasonings, they are wonderful.

Rinse them well, cut them into shorter strands and throw them in a dry fry pan. Cook for about 5 minutes until them seem much drier. The texture will be way better if you do this before you throw them into any recipe. I eat them several times a week. Currently, I make a pizza stirfy with them. Love it.

Pizza Stir Fry
1 7 oz. package shirataki noodles
1 Tbs. olive oil
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 oz. turkey pepperoni
2 oz. mozzarella
1/4 oz. grated Romano
Rinse and cut shirataki into smaller strands. Fry shirataki in a dry fry pan until it looks dry and thinner, about 5 minutes. Remove shirataki. Put olive oil in pan. Add tomato sauce. Layer pepperoni over sauce. Throw shirataki over pepperoni. Place cheese over shirataki. Stir it around a little until cheese melts.

The pizza stir fry does sound good!

I finally tried the noodles a little while ago. I dried them out for several minutes in a pan and made a basic stir fry with them. I was undecided as to whether I liked them or not. I ate them and didn't gag or anything, but the texture was a little difficult.

I do love the Miracle Rice and use it all the time. I think I'll give the noodles a few more tries, as I didn't automatically hate them. Think I just need to try them a few different ways. I want to like them, as I can see them being very useful in adding bulk to my meals without calories.

I made the pizza stir fry tonight, using Miracle Rice. It was really good! Just like a big bowl of pizza toppings, with the MR for bulk. Yummy!

I used pizza sauce instead of tomato sauce. It was Muir Glen, only 4 net carbs for the 1/2 cup called for in the recipe. Very good.
