Looking for easy ground beef recipes
I'm hoping I can get some quick and easy recipes that use ground beef and very few ingredients and preferably can use any side dish. So I don't have to use cauliflower or zucchini to make the recipe but rather just make something with the ground beef and add my own sides
Hope this makes sense. Maybe some yummy burger or meatloaf recipes or something that you just fry up the burger and add some spices or a sauce that's yummy. Something that's easy but tasty. Any ideas would be appreciated otherwise I'm just going to go through whatever in a pan and hope for the best!! lol Thanks!! |

So funny...I've got 4 pounds of ground beef and have no clue what to do with it! Pantry is limited since I did not have time to get to the grocery store today!

This is not exactly easy, but DH loved it when I fixed this the first time two days ago. It is based upon a dish I enjoyed at a diner in Reno two weeks ago while traveling for work. This dish was their specialty!
Basically, it is two thin hamburger patties sandwiched with a mixture of blue cheese, cream cheese and grated Monterrey Jack cheese with a brown gravy (kind of a fancy Salsbury steak). The restaurant was out of its "onion" burgers and said they could not make it. I asked them to use plain burgers and they did. When I prepared at home, I sprinkled my patties with onion powder on both sides before sandwiching with the cheese. So, first I browned some sliced onions and deglazed the skillet with red wine, reduced and poured into a bowl. I then browned sliced, fresh mushrooms, deglazed with red wine, reduced and poured into bowl with onions. I browned the burger, and turned it over and browned a bit more. Added onions and mushrooms and 1 cup beef broth mixed with 1/4 tsp. gluc to the skillet. Reduced somewhat. The best, beefiest, heartiest gravy in the world! I served with fresh, steamed green beans. I did not eat any burger myself--beautiful evening was calling so I rode my horse instead of having dinner! TMI, I know. ![]() |

These are pretty simple to make:
![]() ITALIAN MEATBALL BURGERS 1 pound ground beef 1 pound bulk Italian sausage 2 teaspoons dry minced onion 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (2 ounces) 2 eggs 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 batch Amy's Marinara Sauce, heated (or use 1 cup of your favorite sauce) 6 tablespoons parmesan cheese (1 1/2 ounces) Mix the first 8 ingredients in a large bowl using your fingers. Mix until the meat no long feels slimy from the eggs. Shape in 6 patties and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet. Broil about 5-6 minutes per side or until done to your liking. Serve topped with the marinara sauce and a tablespoon of parmesan cheese per burger. VARIATION: Add sautéed mushrooms and/or bell peppers to the sauce (not included in the counts).
