Home meat slicer?

I'm in the market for a meat slicer to use at home to slice my own bacon (hehehe) and cold cuts. Does anyone own one and have any brand/feature recommendations?

Thanks in advance!!!!!

I had one of the small Rival ones, which folded up for storage, and used it for a long time - but finally wanted one that could handle larger stuff so bought a really nice one from Cabela's. I love it.

It's their Pro Series slicer, which is currently $30 off, but it's still a bit pricey at $349 - worth it though, for my purposes. They do have others starting around $100.

I had a fold up rival 25 years ago. It was ok.

I have one now and have had it for 20 years. It's a Waring pro. and has a metal slider in the front that you slide your meats and cheeses on. Which I would recommend. And mine has a dial on the side. It's stailess steel and very easy to wash. It cost me $100. 20 years ago .

I sliced everything on it. I buy Blackforest Ham to slice paper thin.
Sirlion tip roast to make paper thin sliced beef for cheesesteaks, roast beef. You have to partially freeze the beef.
I take a shank ham take out the bone then slice ham steaks and freeze in vacumn sealer.
I slice cheese. I do all kinds of thing with it.

WOE: I do my darndest to stay under 20g a day :D
We bought the EdgeCraft 610 Chef's Choice Premium Electric Food Slicer for $119.99 on Amazon (Prime eligible!).

It is easy to use and so easy to clean. We research everything on Amazon before we buy it. There are so many detailed reviews these days.

Just check to be sure it's easy to clean. I had a "professional" (read: expensive) model that was a nightmare to clean.....

I have a Rival (electric, stainless) I bought in the early-mid 80's ($65 new back then). It works great. Just saw a quite a few on ebay that seemed reasonable.
