I made both her carrot cake and almond flour fudge cake for a fathers day cook out with the family today. Everyone loved them!! Thanks Chicken Lady!!

I just made her Almond Flour Cake for the millionth time. It is my go to for all Bday parties. Everyone loves it. And the frosting is so good. Yum. Come out, Come out Where ever you are Chicken Lady.

I used Beeb's table cream fudge for the frosting on the chocolate cake..it was really good!! I love The Chicken Lady's cream cheese frosting too.. I use some powdered E in it.

Wow, I just tried her carrot cake last night. I fourthed the recipe to make 6 cupcakes, since it is just me. Now I see why everybody raves about it so much. They are yummy. I had a cupcake a few minutes ago and I will have another one tonight. Now I can't wait to try her chocolate cake, since I am a chocoholic.

Try her cornbread sometime - my DH says it's BETTER than his momma used to make and THAT was definitely NOT a lower-carb cornbread! LOL!

that is my all time favorite corn bread, and I grew up on the stuff. I add a little chopped fresh jalapeno, some finely chopped onion, and a few corn kernels to this recipe to bump it up even a bit more. Even my dh likes it and he does not like cornbread normally.

Thanks for posting the link to the Cornbread, Gina! I'd looked at it before, but hadn't gotten around to trying it. I tried it today, and except for the fact that I couldn't get my popcorn kernels ground finely enough, the bread was fabulous! I used my coffee grinder and really went to town, but still had a few hard bits in the bread. Nevertheless, I'll make it again. The texture was sooo good!

I'm going to make some for my granddaughter, who is mostly grain and sugar-free. I'll go ahead and use some finely ground cornmeal instead of the popcorn meal. Just the fact that it doesn't have wheat flour makes it a better choice for her.

I'm also a huge fan of the Chicken Lady's Carrot Cake and Chocolate Fudge Cake. Those are the two best dessert recipes I think I've made! My granddaughter loved having the Carrot Cake for her birthday cake this year. If you haven't tried those recipes, you must!
