Work for a muffin top pan?

They had this for sale at Walmart for $6. I am thinking it will work as a muffin top pan but worry about the indentation where the stick goes. Maybe I need to line it first with aluminum foil? I worry the batter will ooze out. Couldn't find a donut pan or muffin top pan at our Walmart.

It is technically for cake pops

I think it depends what batter you're using in it - the cheesy bread rounds would do fine in there, thinner batters may want to run out that spot.

Yeah, lining with foil will probably fix it!

I don't know what it's called Anita but they have paintable or dipable silicone that you could use. Just a thought.

I lined it with non-stick reynolds wrap (love this stuff) and will try to make the Widgets Donuts later tonight for a snack. Saw the donut pans on Walmarts website and will possibly order those later but for now this may work. Won't look like a donut so much.

HUM??? Wonder if I could fill them like a long john with something?

You could probably go to Michaels and find one or something similar. I know they have the whoopie pans. Be sure to find the ad from last Sunday's paper first (6/10) as there's a 50% off an item coupon. I just got a Wilton cake/brownie pop pan 1/2 off today with it. Not good for As Seen On TV items and other things.

I bought this and have used it for floopsies without a problem. It makes a bigger roll and I like it better for burgers than my muffin top pans. No problem with the indentation. I am going to buy some more.
