Wow, Gina, I am so impressed by her talent. She is stunning as well. Love, love, love her long hair. I voted! Basically just fill in the last star (then there are 5 stars) - is that how it is done? I will go back every day. Just want to make sure I am doing this correctly.
P.S. I pinned her video to my "Sharing Low-Carb Love." Last edited by Jennifer Eloff; 10-18-2012 at 03:08 PM.. |

You have to be logged into TopBlip for the vote to count Jennifer. After you click on the stars if you're logged in it will say thank you for rating and her voting score will go up. Right now she is in the lead with 744 votes.
My daughter said thank you very much for the compliments and for voting. You're so sweet to say such nice things. Where do I find Sharing Low Carb Love? I wanted to add that I made your waffles tonight for supper right after you posted the recipe!! We loved them!! Is it alright to post the recipe with my pic on here? Of course, Gina - lovely if you could post it on Low-Carbing Among Friends, volume-1 thread as it is recipe from that book. Super! I wasn't just being nice. She certainly deserves the praise.

Thanks -by the way I shared in Pinterest (not sure if you belong, but you can visit through my blog and find Sharing the low-carb love). Also shared her video on my personal Facebook timeline and how to vote for her. They accepted my 5 stars. I know nothing about music - nothing at all - so it was even a challenge filling in the form to login, but I managed.

I will try to find your pinterest page. Thank you so much for sharing her video and voting for her.
I know it's kind of confusing how to vote. You can log in with facebook, twitter or topblip and can vote every day. She really appreciates you sharing and voting for her. That's so sad about your son, my daughter is self taught as well, she writes her own music, sings, plays the guitar and piano, she would be devastated if she could no longer play. |

I'm not sure where the thread is, but here is the LCAF's thread where Gina shared: Low-Carbing Among Friends cookbook, what are the recipes you've tried?
Thank you, Gina. I'm sure your daughter will always be fine. I'm not sure why Jon has had this challenge in life. It breaks my heart. ![]() |

I made this, this morning. My batter was very thick as well, but baked it anyway. I think it turned out well. Needed a sandwich to take with me this morning, something portable. It held up very well and not too much flavor, which I don't want with a sandwich. But this one did not taste bad either. I used macadamia nut oil and mmorris' recipe. Liked it a lot for having a sandwich, texture was quite good, too, which is important to me. I actually had 2 mini bundt pans so used them. Not sure why I ever bought them!

I made a batch this afternoon using Barbo's method with almond flour, since I have no almond butter on hand. I did end up using a bit more oil than just 2 Tb., though -- I used 2 Tb melted butter, then added oil to get the right texture, which probably ended up being about 1/4 to !/3 cup fat all told. No idea why mine needed so much. I used the Hville blanched almond flour.
I also tried making the sweeter "Hawaiian" (sp?) style rolls, by adding more sweetener and also some pineapple flavour drops, some dried ground ginger, and vanilla. The rolls don't really taste like King's bread, but do taste quite nice, and would be great with a few dried cherries and some toasted chopped almonds added... When I can afford the extra carbs from the cherries, I'll do that, and drizzle a little glaze (cream and powdered erythritol and almond extract) on top of them... Does anyone make maraschino cherry flavouring? I'd like to have some for using in icings and so on. |

Yep, looking for a SF option... Not sure I really need a whole quart of it, though, much as I like the taste, and *especially* not sure I like it $20 worth. LOL But, nice to know it might be available. Will do some more rooting around. Thanks!

This is from the fat head Paleo site. It was posted on Facebook
It is pretty much the same recipe here but it uses water. I only made half the recipe for the bagels. And I got 12. I only baked the bagels for about 15-16 minutes. It was really good and the almond taste is not even detectable. 16-oz. jar creamy almond butter 6 eggs 2 teaspoons baking power ½ teaspoon salt ¾ cup warm water 1. Pre-heat the oven to 325 degrees. 2. Mix the ingredients in a mixing bowl. 3. Pour the batter into a 9 x 5 greased bread pan. 4. Bake until firm. (In our oven, it took about an hour) |

Holy bagels Batman!!!
They look amazing and one of my all time favorites. Do you have some kind of bagel baking sheet? How did they come out so perfect? |
