I baked artisan bread!!
This time I baked it in a 9x13 pan. I used homemade almond butter for this one. It came out nice..I can use it for pizza or dipping bread, sandwiches, and I may try making it into garlic bread sticks.

I have the muffin top pan breads in the oven right now.
I've made the bread many times so I'm trying the muffin top pan now. |

Hubby wants to try this bread for French Toast!
The more I think about it,the more my mouth waters at the thought of rich, butter-y, cinnamon-covered French Toast that won't sent me into carb overload! I already bake the household wheat-bread, 3 loaves per batch. It would be SO easy to whip up a batch of this, to go in the 4th loaf-pan! |

Gina I'm thinking out loud. I want to try and make a muffin with these now and fill with something good.
Now that I'm down to no grains I really like these . Last edited by rosethorns; 06-13-2012 at 09:05 AM.. |

I just spread butter on the bread and sprinkled garlic on top the broiled it until the bread was toasted.
I didn't really measure anything out. |

I just made these and I used my muffin top pan that is for whoopie pies so they are not as big and I got 10. This will help keep the calories down for me. I can't wait to have a burger on one later.

Would you please let us know if they hold up with the burger? I have put this recipe aside because of the calories, as well, so wondering since you have more servings, maybe need to revisit and make this.

I am on Maintenance and when I go over in calories even keeping it lowcarb I gain. Very annoying.
These held up great for a burger,, and were very good. I had a bacon egg and cheese for breakfast and it was delicious |

Ginaaaaa SOS
Help please.
I made it all in my Kitchen Aid. I unfortunately used ACV and it turned it a kinda brownish color. My loaf didn't sink like yours did in the picture but..........it sliced well and I measured the slices 4" wide and 2". Could you measure your slices please?I got 14 slices of bread. It was very moist, I cooked it for 30 min. The color puts me off and I don't think the ACV is good for flavor. I assume then that you used the white vinegar? Also did you use a mixer? If so how long do you beat it? The slice looks like fine pound cake. Do you think that making your almond butter with the blanced almond flour made a difference? You got a nice color that way and a completely different texture. I want to make this again, but don't want to goof up.

Barbo, I did use white vinegar and the almond flour butter isn't as sticky. My loaf didn't sink in the middle it must just be the picture, but it did crack. My bread is gone now, so I can't measure the slices for you. I did use a mixer and just mixed until everything was all mixed in.

What is odd is sometimes when I have been out with nongym friends, they seem to talk and feel sorry for me. They think I can't eat much. I am stunned at that point. I really want to say, hey, I am full so many times, I eat sweets, meat, veges, salads, butter, pancakes, bread, and so much more, AND look at me and look at you!!!! I would like to be about 5 pounds lighter, but I am between a size 4 and 6 and feel fantastic. Now look at yourselves (need I say more?). Anyway, these are my friends and won't get snarky with them, so I just smile and say I'm good, thanks!!!!! But anyway, thanks Brendajm for letting me know about the buns. Guess now I'll try this recipe. Burger grilling time and need something to put them in!!!! (along with some bacon and cheese, wow! blue cheese anyone? YUM!) |
