Need help with substitutions
I'm trying to make some of Kevin's recipes, but several of the products he used are no longer made or available. Can anyone tell me about "not/sugar"? He calls for 1 Tablespoon in a bread recipe. The link provided takes you to "thick it up". Is "not/sugar" a thickener or a sweetener? Does anyone know what I can use instead? Thanks so much!

It's a thickener and you can use the Thick It Up or one of the gums, like guar or xanthan (which is what the original TTN/S was made of - a blend of gums/fibers) or the most recent addition seems to be glucomannan, which is what I like, myself.

I have guar and xanthan gums. Is it measure for measure equal to the thick it up?
