I ordered gluc powder and miracle rice
because I saw that Ms. Woods can't live without it, so I thought maybe I can't either.
But I don't know what to do with it. ![]() I know the rice is a shiratake noodle (which I've never tried) and the powder makes a pudding. That's all I know. If anyone wants to fill me in with how to use; I'd prefer to make a sweet treat with it |

There's this glucomannan thread up in the Recipe Sticky threads area. Everything you ever wanted to know about gluc is there. It's long and very informative (and recipes):

Try the Miracle Rice Pudding.
We have made it three times and it goes fast. MIRACLE RICE PUDDING NOT CERTAIN WHO TO ACKNOWLEDGE Preheat oven to 350 degrees I said IF (induction friendly) but I'm not certain. With no carbs or calories, and the products being all fiber. I'm using it as IF. Small Custard Cups 6 SERVINGS: 3 eggs 3/4 c. HWC and 3/4 C. LC HOOD 2% mILK 6 Pkgs. Truvia or Pure Via or to taste *(I use Splenda/Ery) 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tbs. cinnamon Place everything (except rice) into bowl of food processor Process until well mixed Add drained and rinsed bag of Miracle Rice Mix in by hand. Pour into six custard cups. Sprinkle with *cinnamon Place into water bath and bake about 35 min. Chill and bon appetite. « Last Edit: Apr 15, 2012, 4:33pm by barbogold » DOUBLED FOR 7 LARGE CUSTARD CUP SERVINGS: We are having guests to dinner tonight and I doubled the recipe and got 7 really big custard cups full. *Used 1 c. Splenda/Erythritol ss mix Will whip a bit of HWC to serve on top. *Cinnamon Grinders over top. See product report
