Gravy Thickener?
Any suggestions on something to thicken pot roast juice into a nice gravy for my cauliflower mashed potatoes?

I most often use xanthan gum, abut only a light dusting stirred briskly in. Wait. Then repeat if necessary. Some use glucomannan powder, but I haven't tried that yet.

I love cream cheese in everything. It makes a nice gravy when melted with cream, half and half, and/or pan drippings. Yummy!

Any time I have a roast with juices, I cook it with tons of veggies, so I just take some of the veggies and puree them in some juices until I get the desired thickness... works well if you want a cream soup too!
