not long, probably about 5 to 10 minutes.... just till everything is melted and warm throughout.

I made chicken noodle soup in the crockpot and used miracle rice for the noodles, pretty tasty.

Anyone out there that makes rice pudding that you don't bake for custard. Just do on top of stove? MS Woods do you have one? I thought you said something about one and it sounded like it was done on stove top but I didn't find recipe. Thanks I would love one if you have one. Susan

I don't have one I make on the stove top. You really don't have to cook it to make it. I just use half a bag of miracle rice, a cup of almond milk, some sf syrup or sweetener, whatever flavorings you like, and slowly add about 1/2 tsp of glucc powder while mixing.

What is the texture of this rice? I can only stomach the noodles in one dish, if I buy this am I going to be eating mouthfulls of rubbery texture *gag*. Rice to the lowcarbers in my family is like the Holy Grail, lol. We're Asian and I grew up with rice on the table with EVERY meal - even my diabetic Mother won't give it up she just eats less of it!
