Low Carb Chai?
So I got a box of Bigelow Spiced Chai Tea. The box claims 0 carbs. But upon googling, I found that most chai teas have have a few carbs. I'm on induction and want to know if there are truly 0 carbs or whether it's wrong?

Check the ingredients list, is there anything that could like carby? Any sugars? Milk? If not it's a plain tea and it has 0 carbs...

Most ready-to-drink chai will have some carbs because you generally make it with or at least add milk to it. Or in our case cream!
The tea bag, made with water, should be 0. Whatever you ADD to it you need to count. Cream is about .6 carbs per ounce, generally speaking. I like it made with the Blue Diamond sugarfree vanilla almond milk, myself, which is very low cal and low carb. |

I made mine with Coconut Dream milk and Davinci's Sugar Free chai syrup I found at TJ Maxx last year!!! I've also steeped a chai tea bag directly in the hot milk. That was decadent!
