What are your top five LC cookbooks?

Pretty much anything available in a cookbook is on the net!

I love the recipe room here. And this forum because all the recipes from here doesn't necessarily get up in the recipe room.

If I had to name 5, they'd be any of Jen Eloff's and any of Dana Carpender's.

Jen is a wonderful contributor here on this very forum so I'm particularly partial to HER stuff though!

I consider Linda Sue's website a cookbook and use it more than any other. Next most used by me would be Dana Carpender's books.

I checked this one out at the library and liked it so much I'm ordering it from Amazon. Most recipes use stuff that you'd have on hand like Splenda and doesn't call for a lot of weird ingredients.

I have several low carb cookbooks, but honestly all of the low carb recipes I've actually cooked have come from Linda Sue's site. It is just easier for me to use. I just print out the ones that look good and put them in a binder. I like how she uses ingredients that are more basic.

My life's work for almost 20 years has been in this business of creating recipes that can help people on special diets not feel deprived. I know acutely what it is like to feel deprived when it comes to food - goes back to my early childhood - but I won't get into that.

I love Lauren's Healthy Indulgences website. All of the recipes I have tried of hers I like, plus I like how she photographs and explains ingredients and tips. Of course I love Jennifer Eloff's recipes and Dana Carpender, too!

I wish that Char, Lauren and Linda Sue would all make their own cookbooks!

One other favorite of mine is Elana Amsterdam..she has two cookbooks out, and she uses almond flour for her baking. She does use agave syrup, but I am planning to use my regular sweeteners for her recipes.

Dana Carpender is another great author...I have her cookbooks in some boxes in our garage, need to get them out...I also love Jennifer's recipes...

Same here, Jennifer and made up for it by eating junk and being overweight. Not good as an adult and especially not good as a child, picked last, no dates, etc. So now looking okay and pray I stay on this WOE forever!!!!! I certainly will never run out of ideas of recipes if I stick around here, thanks everyone for your contributions!!!!!

I have one called Low Carb Gourmet. I love it. It has a lot of really great and beautiful meals in it.

I've been on her site for the last hour and her recipes look great...and they make sense (I love to bake and collect cookbooks so I know how to scope out a good recipe). Thanks so much

I wish someone would make Kevin's recipes into a book.. I keep hinting that Jennifer's 5 cookbooks would be a perfect Christmas gift for Grandma. But no one is biting yet.

I made Kevin's into a notebook for myself. I copied and printed, even with pictures, put them in plastic sleeves and filed in a notebook with section dividers for breads, crackers, muffins, cakes, desserts, etc.. My notebook is labeled KevinPa's Recipes so I can always find his when I need them. I didn't do each as they came up but copied into a word document and made a folder on my computer. When I had a significant amount I printed them out, put into the notebook and then put them onto a CD to save so I didn't need to keep all on the computer.

I've done the same with Linda Sue's recipes that I use the most.

The Eades' The Low-Carb Comfort Food Cookbook has some good ideas in it.
