Yes I use it you only need a little sprinkle and it doesnt have a funny aftertaste it makes a nice little frosting with Cream Cheese, now I have not tried FF cream cheese so not sure how that will be, but it is a good product!

Its called seriously simple chicken chili 2 pounds chicken breast ( I used 4 large breasts) 16oz jar salsa 1 tbs chili powder 1tsp chicken bouillon Throw it all into the crockpot and cook 7-8hours. Then take a fork and shred it. Wow it taste awesome and EASY!!!! Toppings shredded cheese (not for me but for family) Fat free sour cream |

This is going on my weekend cooking list. You can eat this over grated cauliflower or spaghetti squash or even zucchini ribbons. |

I made these tonight, here is the American version that I came up with, OMG I ate these hot out of the oven, so delicious!! I topped with FF whipped cream, OMG I died and went to heaven!!
This is a recipe for chocolate oatbran muffins. I find them very tasty. Especailly warm with some vanilla yoghurt (no fat of course) All you need is: 60g Bourneville Cocoa Powder- (I used 3 T which was only like 20 grams on my scale) 11g Baking Powder- I used 1 teaspoon 2 eggs 8 tablespoons of splenda (or more if you are a sweet tooth)- I used 14 ezsweetz drops, 6 tablespoons of oatbran 250ml skimmed milk- 1 cup I mixed it all in my magic bullet blender, I sprayed foil liners with coconut oil spray, and baked at 350 for 25 minutes, the mixture was very runny but they are delicious!!!!!! It actually made 8 muffins so I am counting 2 per serving since I am on 1 1/2 T of oatbran, dont be scared of how runny it is they baked up perfectly, they remind me of those hot molten chocolate souffles, without the molt, LOL Man FF cool whip is a good thing, I did learn that too much of a good thing is not good, I was eating it by the spoonful and then it hit me, LOL Too much!!!

Another good crock pot idea, take a pork roast and dump one large jar of peppercini in over the pork, I use a dry spice rub on the pork first then dump the jar down over it sounds gross, but something in the vinegar soultion makes the roast taste delicious with just a hint of spice, that is one of our favorite crock pot meals!

Last night I made turkey burgers for dinner. Ate them topped with cottage cheese - sounded strange but I wanted cheese!! -- and they were delicious!!!! I may have to do that again. Wish I would have had some spinach to put in the burgers, but that'll have to wait for next time.

Tony and his brother caught fresh trout, so I got some Lowrey marinade garlic and something, check out their marinades they are really good, many are almost no fat, and low carbs, we will see how it is on the grill. Then I had this sour orange marinade never tried it, 0 fat, 0 carbs, I have chicken marinating in that for lunches this week, I like when he grills a bunch of meat on Sundays!
Tomorrow is veggie day, yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will make the muffins tonight and post |

He says that Goji's are good for a lot of things and you can have up to 1T day on all phases 4 Tbs Oatbran 2Tbs Wheatbran 4 Tbs Goji Berries 5 Tbs FF Plain Yoghurt 2 tsp Baking Powder 4 Whisked Egg Whites 2 tsp Splenda- I used 10 ezsweetz drops Cinnamon to taste Mix ingredients together and stir in whisked egg whites (with a metal spoon) Place in muffin moulds and bake for 16 mins at 350, I use foil liners sprayed with coconut oil spray. mine said it would make 8-12 muffins but I only got 6 and they are not full by any means. So they are in the oven, will let you know how they are, since this was another British recipe I wanted to write it down so I wouldnt forget what I used!!! |

OMG the goji berry muffins are a winner, they are so dried up but got really soft like a blueberry when baked, so delicious, I am trying to not eat them all, I had to have Tony eat one and he loved them, this is a keeper for sure.

Rather than cooking up some of the Dukan Diet mayonnaise recipes, I'm having good luck using Fat-Free Sour Cream as a "mayonnaise".
Today I made a little egg salad with a chopped hard-boiled egg, about 1/2 Tablespoon of FF sour cream, and a little salt and pepper. Tasted almost like the egg salad I used to make, only with a mild side flavor that sort-of tasted like sweet pickle juice, which is fine with me because my mother adds pickle relish to her egg salad. Then I added a little leftover chicken to the egg salad, and that tasted like a fairly normal chicken salad also. Extra Bonus: Sour cream stays fresh in my frig a lot longer than most of the mayonnaise recipes that expire in 2-3 days.

Girls I got FF mayo at the store it was not bad!!! I was surprised!!! You have to really look at the labels they have reduced fat and non fat, I added some spice, curry to some, dill dip to another and made dipping sauces for meat, Tony loved it too!
OK made the Dukan bread, OMG it is pretty good Dukan Bread Loaf Ingredients * 10 tbspn oat bran * 10 tbspn wheat bran * 4 tbspn wheat germ * 10 tbspn skim milk powder * 1 tspn baking powder * 1 tspn salt * 2 pkts quick fast yeast (8g per packet) * 1 tbspn no fat sour cream * 4 tbspn FF Cream cheese * 3 eggs * 4 or 5 tbspn warm water Method Use 2 bowls. In the first bowl mix the yeast, water and philidelphia cream cheese and give a good whisk. Mix all the other ingredients together in a larger bowl. Add the yeast mixture to the other ingredients and whisk well. I poured it in the pan and let it rise for about 30 minutes on the warm oven top.I lined with parchment that I sprayed with Pam. Pour mixture into a loaf tin (I line mine with baking paper) and cook in a hot oven (400 degrees) for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees and cook for a further 20 minutes. So whole loaf gives 5 large servings with your daily 2 T oatbran if doing this on cruise. Info: 538 calories Fat 14.6, Fiber 27.4, Carbs 86.5, Protein 47.8 So you can divide and decide, I am going to eat 1/10 of a serving so pretty low carb and has some fiber!!!! |
