Iced Cinnamon Coffee!

My NEW favorite treat is:

Iced Coffee with a splash of Cinnamon Devincis, 1 TBS Light Cream and 1 TBS Coconut Milk Creamer!!

OMG!!!!! Wondering about blending this in my Magic Bullet to make a frosty type thingy!!!

Mmm, Beeb, that sounds yummy! I bet if you froze some of the coconut milk in ice cube trays and used that, it would make it slushy and creamy good at the same time....

that sounds yummy, but if anyone knows how to make a GOOD low carb Iced Blended coffee please post it here! Every time I've tried to make a blended iced coffee it did not come out how I was hoping. The ice just blends up and sinks it doesn't blend like a frappuccino would. I asked one time at Starbucks what they use, and she told me they add a syrup that helps blend the ice and coffee and of course it's loaded with sugar

Don't know much about starbucks or coffee blends but I am sitting here now drinking a pretty tasty drink similar to Beeb's.
I used:
Iced coffee
3 cubes frozen coconut milk cubes (thanks Charski for the idea) & small handful crushed ice
2 Tbl. heavy whipping cream
couple drops liquid splenda
Dash cinnamon

I blended it all together and it is on the thick side and kinda of slushy.

Nice change of pace a little calorie dense but I can afford it today.

Oooo! I have Coconut Davincis and never even thought of putting it in my Iced Coffee! I've been adding a scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder too, I bet the Coconut Davincis would be yummy in that too! Thanks beeb

Divabunny (love the name btw!) - Netrition sells a mocha shake by Big Train that is AMAZING and very slushy like you're looking for. A pack of 5 is like 4.49 or something...much cheaper than Starbucks!

I think that if you were to put an egg (or maybe a little lecithin instead) and a little xanthan gum, it would emulsify the ice and eliminate graininess (but you probably also need a powerful blender)...if the ice is actually sinking, I suspect the blender is not powerful enough for destroying ice. Ice must be destroyed!

It seems the DaVinci's lasts FOREVER! The cinnamon one I'm using for this coffee drink has got to be at LEAST 7 years old and it's still tasting great!!

Love the coconut milk/creamer ice cube idea, Char!!! Thanks!!

I second the xanthan gum recommendation. It makes a huge difference in the consistency of ice blended drinks.

The Big Train blended mocha is good. So good, in fact, that I am afraid to order it again.

Forgot to mention I usually add a raw egg too and I take a meat tenderizer and crush the ice before blending it.

Sounds really good! Add a bit of Stevia and maybe some protein powder to make it thick and voila! Cinnamon coffee smoothie!
