One Minute Microwave Hollandaise

I've had this recipe for a long time but too scared to make it

Cooked some beautiful asparagus and tried it and it was a success.
So easy and tasty. I'm giving it to you all. I'll add some notes
at the bottom.

Microwave Hollandaise Sauce
1/4 cup butter,melted
1/4 cup light cream
3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard (I use brown mustard after it's cooked)
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash of cayenne pepper
Melt butter in a 4 cup glass measure in microwave oven for 1 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook 1 minute. Stir once while cooking. Stir briskly with wire whisk until light and fluffy. Don't overcook or sauce will curdle.

Notes:
My microwave is 900 watts
Everything was room temperature
While I was melting butter I put all the rest together
in a bowl and whisked it well.

Adding this to the melted butter, I whisked it well, then microwaved
it for 30 seconds, took it out and whisked, then cooked another 30
seconds, whisked and it wasn't quite done. So I gingerly put it
back in for about 20 seconds and voila that was it. It whisked into
a thick hollandaise. I then added the bit of brown mustard.

It's delish and all for a couple minutes. I feel so good cookish right
now

This sounds wonderful. I've been scared to try hollandaise but I think I can do this!
Thanks Barbo! I just printed your recipe.

By the way the recipe calls for light cream but I just went
ahead and used whipping cream. It is going to become eggs
benedict this morning on top of a low carb pancake, ham,
poached eggs and sauce. YUM
