Shaved Steak
I was at the grocery and noticed some shaved meat in the butcher case. I asked him what it was and he said shaved ribeye. He said most buy it to make philly cheese steak.
All I can say is...Yum!!! It cooks up real quick and is so tender. If you see it - buy it!!! |

YOU are so lucky !!
I use to get it for my restaurant from a meat company but cannot get a grocery store to get it or slice one for me so I end up getting the philly meat at Wal mart or steak ums |

It was cheap too! Only $3.99 per pound.
Enjoy! |

Great stuff!
Tip: Philly Cheese Steak omelettes are fabulous! Make the eggs thin like a crepe, then fill with cheese, steak, sauted onions (hold the wiz). |

I buy it all the time. Actually bought a bunch this week. I sautee up red peppers and onions in coconut oil. Then I add the shaved steak, a little bit of minced garlic, Adobo seasoning and ground pepper. Once done, I melt a few slices of Land-O-Lakes white American cheese on top. And Viola! A nice cheesesteak without the bun. So tasty! I'm going to have one tonight as a matter of fact.

The only place I've found it in NC is at Sam's club (Steak-Eze).
