Nope, Tilly, I "free form" my sandwich buns, biscuits and oopsies. Only just recently bought a pan with small 3" slots I can do whoopie pie shapes, shallow muffins and some cookies. I don't usually bother with specialty pans. I sized down my house when we retired and have storage issues in my kitchen cupboards.

I want one of these pans to try baking protein pancakes so they don't spread out so much and get super thin.

Rosethorn did untry the Danish? I am going to hopefully have time today.
Summer, I make my protein pancakes in the muffin top pans. It is quicker then pan cooking them all, and yes, they don't get so thin. |

I love my muffin top pans.. Got mine at kitchen store in our Outlet mall. Make oopsies, floopsies in them. So much faster and evenly sized.

Sooooo... are whoopie pie pans basically the same size as a muffin top pan? On the big A I can get a Wilton whoopie pie pan with 12 'cups' for cheaper than one labeled a muffin top pan with only 6 'cups'. It's hard to judge without seeing them in person.

Yep, just verified this yesterday at BBB - whoopie pie pans are definitely smaller diameter than muffin top pans. Like about half as big, hence 12 instead of 6 per pan.

Thanks for the input! I didn't even think to look if the listings had the pan dimensions. I just figured one might be half the size overall like my six cup muffin pan vs 12 cup muffin pan.
