Wow everything looks so good in the pictures that everyone has posted. I made this the other night and it turned out really good. Hamburger, cabbage, rainbow of peppers, and radishes. Fried it in olive oil and a little butter with seasoning salt. MMMMMMMMMMMMM. No clue on carb count but I don't think it's very much. Can't find the attachment icon so I can't insert picture. have to get that one figured out.

I have only tried cooked radishes a couple of times and wasn't particularly fond of them. I might just have to try your concoction Bill.

I'm not sure the radishes did a whole lot for it but I had them and they didn't take away from it. Radishes fried really don't have a lot of taste. Fried in butter they are a little better.
What does a person have to do to get pictures into the threads? Bill |

No there is a "el pollo loco"-style marinade, and cream cheese with green chile mixture coating on these too. Here is a link to recipe --

It's a funny thing with the root beer really. You don't end up tasting it as rootbeer, but it adds a depth of flavor to the tomato that's quite special! I'm not a rootbeer fan (to a european it just tastes like cough syrup
) but we usually have some in the house just for the purpose of the sauce! |

It's a knock-off from all of your great ideas, Misty!
![]() I sliced them thin, fried them in a little butter with garlic and onions til they got brown edges (still not quite like potatoes but getting closer and closer), then turned the heat down and topped them with a couple good handfuls of fresh grated parmesan, a splash of milk, and salt and pepper. These are really, really good. |
