deep fryer tips please?
Bought a deep fryer last night at Walmart, and I'm hoping somone can give some lowcarb cooking tips so i don't ruin food and oil by experimenting
does soy flour work as well as "regular" flour for batter, and can you save extra batter in the fridge? does ground flax work well for batter or does it burn up? is there a way to deep fry turnip fries and have them turn out crispy not mushy? ANY tips would be appreciated!!! thanks, adam |

Make breading from crushed pork rinds, the flavor is neutral.

I use soy flour to deep fry my chicken in. I take a heavy cream, eggwash and then roll the chicken in the soy flour. wow, it is soooooo good. hope this helps.

BUMP
hoping someone can answer about using soy protein powder, bran flour, flaxmeal, or stuff other than soy flour for breading while deep frying. soyflour tastes kind of 'weird' to me sometimes. |
