Wow Dottie, sounds really good. Do you think this would be good with sweet Italian sausage crumbled in?

Looks really good....but a question....how does it equal 38 carbs for the entire recipe? According to the carb counter on this web-site 1/2 cup of pumpkin is 9.9 carbs, chicken broth is 1 per cup and half & half is 1 per tablespoon and 1 carb for a half packet of sweetener. Not trying to be snarky, just wanted to make the soup and when I saw 38 carbs I thought...oh maybe not for me just yet. Am I missing something?

You're right! I don't have mastercook on this computer so I was relying on an online counter. My can of Libby's pumpkin says 9g carbs/5g fiber per 1/2 cup as well.
So I'm editing to fix that. Thank you! |
