Your favorite ground beef recipe please?
Hi there,
I have a lb of ground beef I want to use up but am just feeling brain dead today (I've had a cold all week). ![]() Would you mind posting your favorite ground beef recipe or link? I'm sick of taco salad, crack slaw and hamburgers (love them but that's what I seem to always make with ground beef). THANKS!!! |

I like browning it with garlic + onions. Draining. Adding cherry tomatoes, chopped bell peppers, and a little tomato paste with rosemary and making a simple ragu out of it. Top it with some shredded mozzerella + parmesan. mmmmm

Brown hamburg and onion till onions are done, add an 4oz can or two of sliced mushrooms with the juice, 2 8oz cream cheese, in pieces so it melts quicker add a can of Campbells Cream of Chicken Mushroom soup, simmer and stir till everything is melted and mixed. I serve this over cooked broccoli. I'm always being asked to bring this to our church dinners.

LindaSue's spinach lasagna is by far my favorite ground beef recipe. It is so simple to make and I usually have everything in the house.

I got this off allrecipes.com it's quick...easy and great over Dreamfield pasta.
Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff · 2 pounds ground beef · 2 onions, chopped · 3 cloves garlic, minced · 1 can cream of mushroom soup · 1 teaspoon ground black pepper · 1 tablespoon paprika · 4 cubes beef bouillon · 4 tablespoons tomato paste Brown ground beef with onions and garlic add the rest of the ingredients. Thin with water as needed…simmer on very low heat for about 30 minutes. Serve over cooked pasta. |

We like to make cottage pie.
-Brown some ground beef and add some chopped onion, peas and carrots (can add whatever veggies you want). We sometimes add some beef broth and you could add a little thickener to make more of a gravy. -make some mashed cauliflower as the "potato" topping -place the ground beef and vegetables in a cassarole dish and top with the mashed cauliflower. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
