canned prawns, ugh!!!

Gosh, I love me some juicy prawns, but they do cost a lot! So today I found a can of prawns from John West, for at least have the price. Tried one spoon and

They don't taste anything like the fresh ones..

Do you buy canned prawns? What do you use them for?

Make shrimp dip-put them in the food processor with cream cheese & spices of your choice. You can also add sour cream, tomatoes, avocado, & onions.You could also stuff some fish fillets with this mixture.

I make a killer shrimp dill dip
shrimp
cream cheese
lots of dry dill
roasted garlic

Let sit over night for great taste.

Never even SEEN canned prawns - canned small shrimp, yep, seen THOSE....

Yeah I'd think a dip might rescue those things, or maybe a "prawn cake" - like a crab cake, only using those, chopped up finely?
