Squeakie, love your new pic!

I'm not sure WHAT we'll be doing. DH is on vacation, DSS is flying in tonight from Denver, and we don't have any "firm" plans.

However, DH has been talking about firing up the smoker so we might do smoked ribs and split chickens - with homemade BBQ sauce when we eat them. Might do caulitater salad too, haven't made that in AGES and both the guys love it.

Also have TONS of zucchini growing right now so might do a mock apple crisp with that, or a cheesecake with no-sugar cherry topping!

Let's just say I kept adding stuff until it was flavory.

It started out pretty bland, so I just took notes and kept on going!

4th of July

Great day here to do steaks on the barbie. Will make 'baked beans"
with the organic soy beans that I bought, bacon in the beans.
Will make the 'tater' salad, and might have a finale with a small
sweet slice of cantaloupe, or 1/2 c. Schwan's butter pecan ice cream
Only 4 gms. and it is soooo good. We have quite a lot of yummy yellow
squash I thought I might do a scallop with cheese.

I'm guessing Cleo...is that a loose meat sandwich on an oopsie with cauli-tater salad or is that a taco on an oopsie?

That is the most loaded chili dog on a gluten-free hot dog bun that you'll ever see!

Looks wonderful, cleo! I made chili dogs with your oopsies baked in loaf pans, then cut in half so they were more hotdog bun-shaped. They were great!

Everything looks yummy, 'specially the tater salad! Hungry now...
