Fresh turkey drumsticks - recipe ideas??
I bought two huge, fresh turkey drumsticks on last night's grocery order because they were on sale. Does anyone have a yummy recipe for these that they'd like to share???

YUM! I don't really have a recipe. I love them seasoned and rubbed with butter and roasted until the skin is crispy. This is one of my favorite things to eat at the fair!

I also love to eat them in the fair or in parks, smoked. Yum , But when I buy them I put them in the crock pot season them with watever I have on hand and the meat just comes of the bone. I don't know how to make them in the oven

I just roast them in the oven. Pour some melted butter over them, salt, pepper, and whatever spices I feel like. Cover them and cook for about an hour or so, and then uncover and cook for awhile longer just to get the skin crispy. MMMM I made these yesterday as a matter of fact.

I have to agree w/ what everybody else is saying. Just pop them in the oven, salt pepper, whatever you want on them, cook 325-350 for a couple hrs, cover if you want skin soft, uncovered if you want crispy. Mmmmmm. One of my favorite meals. Haven't tried the crockpot yet. Bet that's a good idea in the summer
