Suggestions for roasted garlic
I'm so excited! My garlic roaster has arrived! I would love some suggestions on what I can do with it. The only way I've had it is with brie and cherry preserves on crackers. Since the crackers & jelly are out I need ideas!
thanks! brandy ![]() |

I make lc strawberry jam that is super simple and good so you can always have that. For crackers I make Linda Sue's cheese crackers. You could make a garlic butter log..mmmm..yummy. You can also put it on top of chicken with some olive oil and possibly fried onions. Or make some flax bread, toast it and smear the garlic all over it with either olie oil or butter..oo yummy!

Mmmm - all sound like tasty suggestions! Do you have recipes posted anywhere? I've never made any of them so don't even know how to start! The flax bread sounds cool - could maybe even make a cracker out of it somehow?

Flax bread is just like the one minute muffin but without cinn and no sweetner. If you search you will find tons on the one minute muffin is for sure. I think I've seen soemthing somewhere on here about a flax cracker but I've never made it cause I love the cheese crackers and they are SO low in carbs. Here is the recipe I use for the Strawberry Jam.
LC Strawberry Jam 5C. low carb fruit or berries 3 droppers of liquid stevia and 1 dash powdered stevia. 3oz. pkg. flavored sugar-free jello Mix fruit and stevia together in a saucepan, cover, and allow to set out overnight at room temperature. In the morning, bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 6 minutes stirring constantly to avoid burning. Remove from heat and stir in one 3 oz. pkg. SF jello. Cool slightly before placing jam into clean container and put in the fridge. Pour the rest in a container to freeze for later.
