kc masterpiece low calorie bbq discontinued

Well,it looks like the kc masterpiece low calorie bbq sauce has been discontinued.

I went to the web site and they don't have it listed there anymore.I e-mailed them and asked if they were going to carry it again,I'm waiting for an answer back.
I am so disapointed,this was our favorite bbq sauce.I also have two diabetics in this home and this was the best tasting bbq sauce out there,it tasted like the real thing.

I must be blind
I went to two of the walmarts here yesterday and neither one had it on the shelves(I had a clerk searching for it).All I could think of was 'OMG,what will I do now!!I am bbqaholic,I'd rather have bbq sauce than ketchup anyday.

I'm sure the guys at KC Masterpeice are going

too.lol

They apparently are still making it but Wal-Mart recently stopped selling it. I'm really bummed out. I'm down to only 1 1/2 bottles in my stash. If I'd known they would quit selling it, I would have bought a boatload of it.

The last time I bought some was back in May of last year and I bought several bottles. This past Thursday, I decided to stock up on it again and found that they aren't selling it anymore. I don't know when they removed it but I'm sure I'd seen it on the shelves since the last time I bought some. The Kroger store where I shop has never had that flavor but there are a few other stores that I will check.

I sent you a private message with a copycat recipe for Masterpiece BBQ sauce with some of my tweaks.

The other thing that I may tell you is that Charski has a very good BBQ sauce.

I'll bet she will share it with you.

Lisa had told me about this and I found it at my Super Walmart a while ago. After reading this thread yesterday I checked today when we went grocery shopping and it isn't on the shelves at my Super Walmart anymore /cry! I loved that stuff!

I just bought some at Super Target yesterday, and I happen to know that their distributor is SuperValu. Consequently, any store supplied by SuperValu probably has it or has the ability to get it. I checked the supervalu website and their proprietary stores include Acme, Albertsons, Bigg's, Cub Foods, Farm Fresh, Hornbachers, Jewel, Lucky, Save-A-Lot, Shaws, Star Market, Shop 'n Save, and Shoppers Food. If you've got any of thsoe stores, giv'em a try.

That's not really the issue. All the grocery stores in my area carry KC Masterpiece. It's just that they're not carrying the low carb variety. After I check a bunch of stores tomorrow, I may make the trip over to the Super Target. It's not far away, but it's not conveniently located near any place else that I shop so I never go there.

I've been looking for this bbq sauce forever and I cannot find it either. I need it. Although Linda Sue has a totally awesome recipe for Smokey BBQ Sauce on her website. And it is super easy to make. So I'm not totally bummed out I can't find KC Masterpiece. But still I would like to try it.

I am going back to Walmart on Thursday and if they still have it on there top shelf..I am going to buy 5 or 6 of them...leave some for some other LC-er...

.I have 4 here at the house now and I use it about everyday on something. I love it!! I have 2 more stores that carry it here on this Southwest side of VA...Food Lion and Food Country USA both do but at much higher prices.

Try Dana Carpender's recipe -- she reprints it in all her books. It's a bit of work, but it's better than KC Masterpiece -- I promise!!
