So you don't want cauliflower in your pizza?! So what. Get in here
![]() ![]() ![]() I know you're like *hands on hips* she did that the last time, too! Well, YEAH I did! But hello, this is PIZZA! This is a pizza crust recipe made with cauliflower. Um, yes, I said it. CAULIFLOWER. And YES I purposely made this in my kitchen. On purpose. Like for a reason. And you can load it with toppings (like that third photo) and hold it in your hands. And you can't taste the cauliflower. And I had to beat people with a stick so I could fend them off and take the pictures. The recipe and more pictures are here in the recipe section (You're like, OMG! she's not linking to her blog for once!). And I might add that each whole crust recipe is only 8 net carbs. That means less guilt if you eat one in a day. Which you shouldn't, or I'm telling mom. Because you never share with me.

I need to hold mah food in mah hand.
I'm tired of the knife and fork crap. I am not at a social, dangit! I am a carnivore. Let me hold mah food! Plus, I wanted to figure out a way to get more cauliflower down my kids. They were shocked it was cauliflower! I won! I won! They ate all my pizza. *sniff* In that way I lost. Mah pizza! |

Reheated, I popped mine in the microwave for 30 seconds. I let it cool down for a second, and am still able to pick it up with mah hands the next morning.
My kids really liked it. They want me to make more this week, and my daughter said, "MOM!" and gave me an idea for a new recipe with it. I'm going to give that a shot, too, and let you know if it turns out. pearlmom-- I was looking through a bunch of old recipe books yesterday, and someone I knew had a son who was gluten intolerant. One of the cookbooks we put together in college contained a pizza crust, and I adjusted the recipe to be low-carb and gluten-free yesterday. It just kind of happened. I wasn't sure how it would even turn out. |

Thank you for thinking about giving this a try! I have to go buy more cauliflower because my kids say I didn't make enough.

I keep looking at the pics..... I can't wait to make this. I have everything except the cauliflower. I usually ALWAYS have frozen cauliflower - but it looks like it is worth a trip to the store.

Holy Crud Cleo!!!!!!!!! I am salivating and it's breakfast time <drool> I think I'd have a problem not eating the whole thing ... I really want to try this! I think I might ****** it for calorie count and then I can figure out how much i can have and then tell the kids they're gonna try a new pizza, so I don't scarf down the whole thing. Cheese is the scourge of my existence ...
Wow! You need to write a cookbook Girl! (or maybe you are a famous chef just pretending to be Cleo??!!) ![]() |

I ******'d for the numbers, and they're all on the thread in the recipes section. Tantalizingly low for a serving (only 113 calories or so, and only 2 net carbs per slice)... for the crust only...toppings not included.
LOL on being a chef-- ummm. I love you. But no. I don't have the talent of the cooks of this board. I just want to eat ethnic foods and hold stuff in my hands. |

Since this IS a pizza thread, I gotta mention my fave ingredient, turkey pepperoni!!
Only 70 cal for 17 slices and I don't think it has any carbs. I chop it up so it goes farther. I like my pizza old school.................pepperoni and olive. |
