Is lime juice in marinade ok?
I found a great sounding marinade, but it contains 1/3 c lime juice, which I guess is needed to tenderize the meat? How do you know how much of the marinade is ok? I'm puzzled about the marinade counting thingy....

Lime Juice Marinade
When I used to be in WW I asked this same question and the lecturer
told us that mostly marinades are burned away during cooking. I think you will be safe with it. |

Meat doesn't really soak up that much from marinades so I wouldn't worry about it--that's only about 6 carbs anyway and I'm assuming it's more than one serving. To be on the safe side when we were keeping carbs really low, I'd count about 1/3 of the carbs.
