ice cream sandwich?
Whenever I make the evil protein cookie I add 1 tsp of cocoa and only microwave it for 20 seconds(keeps it soft and chewy). They come out very chocolaty and almost brownie like.
Well,I was thinking about making two of these and putting some lo carb ice cream in between to make an ice cream sandwich. I can't make them tonight as I don't have any ice cream but thought I'd run the idea by you all and see what you think. |

If you have managed to get that cookie to taste like anything better than cardboard, I say go for the ice cream sandwiches!
![]() Would you care to share your recipe for the cookie? I'd like to be able to make these cookies now and then, but I failed miserably at getting the thing to be edible. ![]() |

it,s just the basic protein cookie recipe and then I add about 1 tsp(more or less depends on how chocolaty you want it)
I also add enough water to it that it doesn't quite hold together, but not runny(hope that makes sense) and then only microwave for 20 seconds. Those few less seconds in the microwave make a big difference. I also sometimes frost it with peanut butter and thats really good. |
