I made this last night. I grilled some chicken and added some pesto sauce (little jar), then sauteed some fresh spinach and put the chicken on top! It was very yummy!

I have never tried anything with out liquid. Dosent it burn or stick? I did find reynalds crock pot bags. There like a rosting bag. I have a crock pot that lifts out to be washed but I still love useing the bags.

I'm really loving this thread. I hate cooking stuff that takes like 10 ingredients.
Plus 3 ingredients will keep the cost of food down, too. The orange chicken and parmesan ranch chicken recipes sounded particularly good. |

I've only ever done it with a roast, but you can put it in the crock pot with no liquid, and you will be shocked at how much liquid is in there when it's done.

My family doesn't like wings to eat (it's sinew thing lol) but like the flavor of the wings so I came up with this really easy recipe
Hot Boobs 4 boneless skinless chicken breast 1 bottle of wing sauce (usually the hottest we can find for 0 carbs put in crockpot at cook all day. Shred when is comes out of crockpot. Eat as it is or my favorite is to roll it in a low carb tortilla and blue cheese dressing with lettuce. DD loves it in omelettes. |

Jake- It went very well. Of course there were some things I didn't like, but then someone else here might like them... Over all it was wonderful. I was able to lowcarb and not have to worry about fixing meals for OVER a month! I just had a baby and those first weeks are the roughest, so this thread was a real lifesaver. I'm not cooking ahead so far anymore, but I still use many of these recipes and just have more time to cook them fresh now.
And now for my contribution. A nice snack idea. It sounds awful together, but trust me... it has everything a snack should have. Crunchy, sweet and salty! Stuffed Celery: Celery Peanut butter Vanilla sweetened cream cheese Whip up a brick of cream cheese, add some vanilla davincis (you can also use splenda and vanilla extract, I have). Layer pb into celery first, making an indent through pb. Then add cream cheese mixture. Eat in front of your favorite show... Word of caution, only make a few at a time. I usually do about 4-5 sticks because they are just TOO good!

Smothered Pork Chops
I started to not submit this cause it has 4 ingredients but it can be tweaked if you don't have the cream or half and half and would still be good. The worchester is what makes it kick!
Smothered Pork Chops Pork chops-the thicker the better seasoned with your favorite (lemon pepper or salt and pepper or seasonal ect...) Cream of chicken soup or cream of chicken and mushroom soup worchester sauce 1/2 cup cream or half and half Brown seasoned chops in evoo till really carmelized remove from pan add about 1/2 cup of water to deglaze pan add soup and worchester sauce (start w/1-2 tbls and add to taste from there.) add cream and stir well Bring chops back to pan and simmer on low 1-1/2 hours turning chops every 20 minutes You could also add mushrooms at the last 30 minutes for a deeper flavor This make a wonderful gravy that could be use on dreamfields pasta or faux rice or faux potatos. Enjoy |

why do you have to? They can't cook? lol. I urge you to try it. Heck, most of it is crockpot cooking anyways, so even there you can get ahead start by putting it in the morning and it will be done by dinner time.
I love it! |

Had this last nite (m)..
WOW, I made this last nite and it was really good, but REALLY HOT. I think I used too much sauce LOL! I used the chili/garlic sauce, but almost 3/4 of the jar LOL! So, what I did to soften the bite was rolled in about 1/4 cup of regular sour cream and boy was it really good then. Yes, I would definately recommend this!

I got a good one. It's a LITTLE carby, but if you are craving Chinese food and past the Induction phase, you can have this.
Asian Sesame Grilled Chicken Boneless, Skinless chicken breasts Wishbone Asian Sesame vinagrette dressing Marinade chicken in dressing overnight. Grill until done. This is SO good! I serve it with Broccoli made with soy sauce and some of that bottle chile sauce mentioned earlier in the thread (the hot, not garlic stuff that is easy to find. lol). GOOD stuff! |

I made rican3's Smothered Pork Chops (post 140) for supper and it's a winner. I changed it a little. I used pork steaks and after it was all browned up, I put them in the crockpot which I'd already added the chicken and mushroom soup, CC milk and a tbs of worchestershire sauce and stirred it up. I let it all cook for 4-6 hours on low (it was done, so I had it on keep warm for awhile, so my timing is questionable). Very tender and flavorful.
