almond flour to make a roux?

Does anyone know or has anyone used almond flour to make a roux or to thicken up sauces? Did it work pretty much the same as regular flour? Thanks for any help.

Thanks Bella. I only have almond flour in the house so I guess I'll just have to try it and see how that works. I'll keep the others in mind in case I pick those up.

I use Carbalose. Almond flour is just finely ground almonds--I don't think it really works like flour. Let us know how it turns out.
