doctoring up tuna to taste fantastic

I don't want to add a lot of mayo, I try to avoid too much saturated fats. . so what else can I add to it to help it taste good?

Relish
Salsa

Do you cook them like salmon patties?? Leave them on one side for quite awhile before turning them over?

Sorry to be such a pest.

I add a little coleslaw mix (no mayo added just the cabbage from a bag) I'm too lazy to chop up other crunchies. Mayo & a little mustard. I love wasabi so my next tuna adventure will be mayo & wasabi

There's this stuff called salad supreme... it is so good on tuna salad and adds a lot of flavor.

This might sound gross to some people but I add peaches and /or pineapple in small amounts but it is so yummy. Depends on if you're on induction or not. Roasted red peppers are good too. God bless.

Ok, this is weird but good:
2 parts tuna (or cooked chicken or turkey will work, too)
1 part firm tofu.
salt, peper, cayenne powder, mustard either dry or prepared.
Whirl whirl whirl in food processor.
Add diced celery, green peppers, and a bit of onion.

It's good. And I hate tofu.

Starkist has new flavorings in tuna now! They are great! I believe Whitelighter on here mentioned them on another post so I looked for them in the store after that and they come in those new pouches that Starkist has. Our local Walmart has 3 flavors of the new tuna's.
Hickory Smoked
Lemon and Pepper
Herb and Garlic
I havent tried the Hickory smoked one yet just bought it last night but the other ones are GOOD!
I add just a bit of Hellman's Mayo, Some dill pickle sliced up in it, 1 Egg, a bit of paprika, Pepper, chopped onion scallions and a capful of lemon juice to my tuna salad. Let it set in fridge overnight for the flavors to mingle together. I eat tuna on a lettuce leaf wrap its sooooooooo good!

I put the mayo on shredded lettuce and don't put ANYTHING on the tuna. Just make a salad the way I like it and put tuna on top then...........

Take a slice of good cheddar and set it in a non-stick pan sprayed with Pam. Let it heat just until it is beginning to melt and put it over the top. It is really good. Enjoy!

No bread....very few carbs....great taste!!!!

I sometimes drizzle EVOO over chunks of tuna, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese and pepper flakes. Sometimes I sprinkle with lemon pepper as well.

I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard that Old Bay seasoning added to tuna salad is really good!

I also like to add onion powder, diced celery and HB eggs to mine.

I just did that today Bumble Bee Solid white Albacore with just plain mayo and Old bay seasoninng. I got that idea from Allie in her Subway tuna salad thread .

I'm a person that used to make tuna w/everything mayo, relish, onions, mustard
sometimes tartar sauce all that stuff sometimes it was good a lot of times not. Today when I made it with just the Old Bay and the mayo it tasted really good, very clean and fresh. Try it!!
