White Castle Pid (pie)

You can use real onions but they have carbs, just count them and if they fit into you plan go for it, I use them all the time, love them, just have to watch it as I will OD on them.

Dried onions and onion powder are also pretty high in carbs. If you use fresh onions the pie will still taste good, but it won't have that "White Castle" flavor.

I just did some figuring and here's what I came up with:

2 teaspoons onion powder + 1 tablespoon dry minced onions is the equivalent of about 1 1/4 cups chopped fresh onion or about a medium onion.

Dried onion mixture - 8 net carbs
1 1/4 cups fresh onion - 11 net carbs
