Shiritaki Noodles - OH NO!!
I have serval bags of the tofu House Brand noodles that expire Aug 22, 2006
I thought they were good for 1 year and I have only had these for about 7 months (ordered on line). Do I dare use them past expiration? If so how long? Thanks for any advise, Beth |

I've eaten shiritaki noodles that were a couple of months past the expiration date. As long as they smell like they're supposed to, they'll be fine.

If they're not refrigerated, go ahead and toss them in and they should be good another 2-3 weeks easy
Kevin: some brands have a slightly 'fishy' smell. But it should be very, very mild. |

Thank you, I will be eating them every day until gone.
I have had them in the frig since I got them. I don't think they smell that bad, just not a pleasing smell for food. I love them with asian peanut suace. Yeterday I had speg. and meatballs with them. Beth |

Kevin, they're packed in seaweed, so they've got an... oceanic note
Once you boil them for a bit, there's no trace of it whatsoever. |
